The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is appealing for help to arrest a woman who allegedly killed a Finance Director working for a hospital in Nairobi.

In a statement published on Thursday, September 21, the DCI also shared the screenshot images of the woman believed to be the murder suspect.

The images shared by the DCI showed the woman jumping off the Doctor's home fence after committing the crime at Woodley Estate, Nairobi.

"The suspect who was captured leaving the victim's residence at Woodley Annex -Upper is believed to have been involved in the murder most foul before escaping through the back door," the DCI statement read in parts.

According to the DCI, investigators also recovered murder items from the scene. The items have since been subjected to forensic examination.

The investigators also collected blood sample from the house. They revealed that the samples will be used to place the suspect at the scene of crime.

"Two blood stained knives believed to have been the murder weapons were recovered from the scene of crime.

"As detectives burn the midnight oil to arrest the female suspect, members of the public are requested to volunteer any information that may lead to his immediate arrest," DCI requested.

The body of the Doctor who also worked as Finance Director, was found on Friday, September 15, with multiple stabbing wounds.

He had 25 stab wounds that caused his death, an autopsy shows.

The postmortem which was conducted at the Lee Funeral Home on Saturday revealed some vital organs were raptured by the stabs in the attack.

“We calculated and found he had 25 stab wounds. This caused both external and internal bleeding,” said chief government pathologist Dr Johansen Oduor.

He stated there were no defence injuries meaning the man lay as he was being stabbed.
