A Kenyan doctor is the latest victim of a stupefying incident after an unidentified man stole over Ksh100,000 and other personal belongings from her moments after she landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Thursday.

According to a police report obtained by Kenyans.co.ke, the lady who had travelled to India for studies arrived back in Kenya at about 9:00 am.

The 26-year-old was then waiting to fly to Kisumu from JKIA and then board a public service vehicle to her rural home in Egesa, Kisii County.

However, moments before she boarded the Kisumu-bound flight, she decided to exchange the Indian rupee for Kenyan currency.

During confirmation of the amount, she was approached and greeted by an unknown male who was wearing a face mask and a cap.

According to the report, that was the last thing she remembered as she passed out moments later.

Hours later, the 26-year-old student found herself in Narok town lying along the road opposite Olentimama Stadium while appearing confused.

Per the report, she had lost Ksh100,000 cash and other personal belongings packed in two suitcases, amounting to approximately Ksh150,000.

Passersby had gathered around her, trying to get her identity and contacts of her family.

They, instead, contacted the police officers attached to Narok Police Station, who rushed to the scene and transferred her to Narok County Referral Hospital, where she was attended to.

Detectives have since launched investigations to identify the unknown male suspect who stupefied the female doctor, leading to her losing her possessions.
