Beach Boy Divorced by Italian Wife Over Facebook Photos

Mombasa Court has annulled marriage between a Kenyan beach operator and an Italian doctor, after the young man allegedly posted suggestive photos of other women on his Facebook timeline.

Ebo Mahs Kabao, was sued by his wife of four years, Luredana Piarulli, is said to have gone for a photo spree at the beach after his wife travelled to Rome, Italy where she works.

Ms Piarulli accused Mr Kabao of being adulterous and only staying in the marriage to benefit financially.

Speaking before High Court Judge Juma Chitembwe, Mr Kabao refuted the claims saying his job required him to take photos with women once in while. He however, admitted to benefiting from his wife's finances but insisted that she had failed to satisfy him sexually.

To further prove that he was not after her money, Mr Kabao said that he had turned down a proposal by Ms Piarulli who had promised to pay him Sh1,000 per day, to quit his job permanently.

Justice Chitembwe ruled the marriage was beyond repair, since both parties had issues with the each other and were seeking to part ways.

“From the evidence on record, it is clear that the marriage between the parties is no longer working. I have seen the photographs provided by the petitioner and do find that she has every right to complain. Those are not ordinary photographs taken by beach operators and tourists. One can conclude that there is intimacy between the respondent and the lady in the photos,” The Standard quotes Judge Chitembwe.

“The court cannot compel the two to live together against their will. The marriage between the petitioner and the respondent is hereby dissolved,” the judge ruled.
