Blogger Robert Alai Dismisses Sh200K Salary Claims, Declares He Will Vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta

Controversial blogger Robert Alai has rubbished claims that he had joined President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election campaign on a Sh200,000 monthly salary.

The claims had been propergated by a pro-National Super alliance (NASA) blogger Anwar Sadat who alleged that Alai's participation in various State House summits had led to the said job offer.

Mr Alai issued a series of hard hitting comments distancing himself from all accusations that he was now a civil servant.

"I cannot work for someone for Ksh 200,000. For politics, I believe in owning a cause then being part of the ideology. I'd rather get self-employed and earn even 50k," he stated.

The blogger further hit out at his accusers calling them "idiots" for their various accusations.

"Ati, 'you live in Eastlands in a rental' but you earn over 200k!! Again, IDIOTS!! Who told you that everyone should spend all their money on rent or buy property in the unplanned concrete slums of Nairobi. Wacheni ufala," his post read in part.

He further called supporters of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga pawns in a grand scheme orchestrated to enrich the Opposition chief and keep them in poverty and ignorance.

"Pathetic pawns who don't know that your poverty and buffoonery is Raila's wealth. I will vote for President Uhuru. Kama inauma, burst," his statement concluded.
