Two women in Samburu County were brutally murdered near their home in Maralal town.
Residents were shocked when the bodies the two women were found dumped on the streets with brutal marks.
The two, a 61 year old French national and 41 year old Samburu woman had been stripped naked and had cut marks on their bodies, indicating they had been tortured to death.
K24 reports that the French woman had just recently come into the country to visit family.
The Samburu woman is married to a French man who was not home at the time of the murder.
Police officers have launched investigations into the murders.
