Residents of Siloba village in Kanduyi constituency, Bungoma were Friday shocked by the exhumation of a body buried a year ago after the deceased allegedly ‘spoke’ to his parents.
The family of the late Derrick Wafula obtained a court order from Bungoma magistrate Christopher Yawala in what they said were persistent dreams from their late son who complained that he was not comfortable with his resting place.
According to the deceased's father Fredrick Wanjala his son has been telling him that he was killed by the neigbours and he cannot stay in that vicinity of his killers The Star reports.
The father adds that following the persistent dreams from his son he decided to migrate back to his Kitinda ancestral village and left the grave of his son in Siloba village.
He however says that his son still followed him asking him to transfer him to their ancestaral home of Kitinda.
The family exhumed the body under police escort with the father saying it was the only way to give his son peace.
