Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka Rubbishes NASA co-principal Moses Wetangula's Presidential Ambitions

Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has rubbished the presidential ambitions of National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principal Moses Wetang'ula.

Speaking in Webuye East, Governor Lusaka lashed out at Senator Wetangula for maligning his name among Bungoma residents while masquerading as a presidential candidate under NASA.

Lusaka claimed that Wetangula can never be president if he does not present a national outlook and stop campaigning only in villages around his Kabuchai home area.

The Governor cautioned Wetangula to stop peddling lies about him in funerals and concentrate on his non-existent presidential ambitions in NASA.

Lusaka, a Jubilee point-man in the region, warned NASA to brace themselves for a fiery battle from the ruling coalition.

''We are one thing and we have begun our campaigns. They are going to feel the heat because we are not interested in this petty funeral politics that our opposition brothers are engaged in,'' stated Lusaka.

Jubilee, he remarked, was going to roll out vigorous campaigns in Western to popularise the party and was not taking chances and will work hard to retain victory in the August 8 polls.

Lusaka is seeking to have the Jubilee side gain considerable support in the Western region where NASA co-principals Musalia Mudavadi and Wetang’ula hail from.
