Popular Musician Charles Njagua Kanyi aka Jaguar on Thursday lost the Jubilee party nominations to incumbent Member of Parliament Maina Kamanda.
Jaguar had been leading with a huge margin and all reports indicated that he was winning but in an unprecedented move, Kamanda was declared the winner at the last minute.
Jaguar, who appeared to be distressed with the announcement, stormed out of the tallying centre at Jamhuri High School.
Chaos have erupted in the area as the musician and his supporters are protesting the announcement.
The rowdy youth have engaged the police in running battles as they demand that Jaguar be declared the winner.
Kamanda will now face off with activist Boniface Mwangi and businessman Steve Mbogo who are contesting the seat on Ukweli party ticket and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) respectively.
