Deadly Ammunition Recovered From Suspected Terrorists

2 men suspected to be terrorists were on Sunday arrested in Garissa.

The two were caught with guns and explosives during a security operation meant to disrupt planned terror activities in the country.

Through their twitter handle, the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government said the suspects are linked to Mohamed Kuno aka Gamadhere.

Kuno is said to be the mastermind of the Garissa University attack that left 148 people dead.

The ministry added that security operations to nab terrorists would continue.

The Kenyan military recently got funds from the US government to aid in operations against terror attacks.

The cash will be used in equipping the military.

It will also be used in helping the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) in Somalia and training soldiers.

 

The plot to attack Kenyans was hatched from Somalia but facilitators were within.There is an ongoing ops to nail & arrest the accomplices.
