The Migori Teachers Training College has been closed down owing to fears of a terror attack.
All the 200 in-service teachers pursuing Kenya Institute of Special Education (Kise) and special education courses left the institution Sunday, with police moving in to secure the area.
According to a report by the Daily Nation, Migori County Police Commander David Kirui has said they are in possession of "valuable" information regarding a potential terrorist attack in the region.
The closure of teachers training college comes hours after the Kenya Medical Training College Garissa campus was shutdown due to security concerns.
