Federal Party of Kenya (FPK) Announces Support for a NASA Presidential Candidate

The National Super Alliance (NASA) on Wednesday got a major boost after a new party declared it would support the candidate who would fly the coalition’s presidential flag.

The Federal Party of Kenya (FPK), through its party leader Andrew Kutitila, announced that it would support the NASA presidential candidate.

Kutilila, however, clarified that FPK would field candidates in all other elective seats.

The party leader promised to work with the opposition to consolidate Western and Trans Nzoia votes against the Jubilee Party.

“Kenyans are now suffering more than before. The prices of basic needs such as flour, kerosene and even electricity bills have gone up. This is unacceptable,” Kutilila stated.

The party, which was founded by veteran politician Cyrus Jirongo, will now be headed by Kutilila, who is also the Sikhendu MCA.

Jirongo has since moved to the United Democratic Party (UDP).

Kutilila's name as the party leader was gazetted last week and he will take the oath of office on Saturday at an event in Kitale set to be graced by the NASA co-principals.
