Learning has halted in Garissa county as pupils have taken to the streets to make their cry known to the government.
Teachers have abandoned their duties in the area due to insecurity leaving pupils on their own.
The education crisis currently in the county has been going on for 8 months now with no response from the government
The hashtag #EndNepEducationNow has accompanied the peaceful demonstrations directed to prompt President Uhuru Kenyatta to act.
The children are pleading to the president to hearken to their cry as they are lagging behind as other counties progress.
