Governor Kidero's Father is Dead

Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero lost his father on Friday morning while undergoing surgery at a hospital in India.

President Uhuru Kenyatta sent his condolences terming Johnson Agango, as a courageous and respected member in the community who was always indebted to his family and the nation at large.

Mr Agango, 87, is said too have also played a role in support of the independence struggle of Kenya, helped the church and the community.

“Mzee Agango’s death leaves a gap that will not be filled, certainly not by these few words of consolation. But as we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate his achievements, and be lifted by the exemplary life he led,” read President Kenyatta's Facebook post.

Speaking on behalf of Nairobi, Senator Mike Sonko also eulogised Mr Agango and urged Mr Kidero and his family to stay strong.

“Nairobi people are with you and your family in prayers our Governor. May the almighty Father rest Mzee's soul in eternal.,” read the Senators Facebook post.

This comes barely months after Senator Sonko lost his father, Gideon Kioko Kivanguli to sickness that he had been battling with for a while.
