Gun Drama Involving Sonko is Part of Jubilee Democracy - Peter Kenneth Now Says

Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Peter Kenneth has interestingly stated that the ongoing wrangles between him and other Jubilee candidates in the City are part of the ‘Jubilee democracy”.

Speaking at Wakulima Market in Nairobi on Tuesday, Kenneth downplayed concerns around the gun drama witnessed on Sunday after his supporters and those of Senator Mike Sonko clashed stating, “what you saw the other day is part of Jubilee’s internal democracy".

"But we have said that those who want to use insults and chaos, we will leave them, it is you the people that will decide,” the Nairobi hopeful told his supporters.

The 2013 presidential contender stated that he was the best candidate for Jubilee on grounds that he had a proven performance record from his tenure as Gatanga MP.

“When you compare all of us in Jubilee, there is a whole lot of difference, I am the man for the job,” Kenneth affirmed.

On Sunday, the rivalry between Kenneth and Sonko played out in public after the latter, in the company of his supporters, stormed a football event in Dagoretti North Constituency where PK was the chief guest.

The Senator disrupted the whole event as supporters of each group descended on each other throwing the whole forum into a limbo.

Sonko’s bodyguards also fired shots during the chaos.
