Gunmen Who Fired Shots in Raila's Meeting Were Hired by Jubilee Leaders - ODM Claims

ODM acting Secretary General Agnes Zani has now claimed that leaders from Turkana, allied to the Jubilee party hired goons to disrupt Opposition leader Raila Odinga's meeting on Friday.

The nominated Senator alleged that the goons were given prior information of Odinga’s meeting and crude weapons to cause chaos.

“Kenya is a democracy and all Kenyans have the right to assemble and rally anywhere in the country… the actions of the hired youth show that the Jubilee government is not interested in the welfare of Kenyans,” she said.

On Friday, armed youth stormed Odinga’s meeting in Turkana’s Katilia area, who was in the company of Governor Josephat Nanok and fired shots in the air throwing the forum into limbo.
