Former Kenyan Rugby international and Homeboyz forward Andrew Wekesa was killed on Sunday night at Mlolongo, Machakos County.
According to reports, Wekesa was attacked and stabbed to death by unknown assailants on his way home to mlolongo.
The rugby player, 25, recently graduated from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and had been playing for Homeboyz RFC.
Police have commenced investigations into the murder. The deceased represented the Kenya under 19 team in 2011.
