Residents of Mugunga B village in Lugari constituency, Kakamega County, were yesterday startled by an incident where a human hand was found in a cow's stomach.
The bizarre incident further shocked the residents when a chicken’s head was also found near the cow’s heart, Citizen Digital reports.
According to the owner of the cow identified as Eliud Wafula his dairy animal fell sick two days ago, prompting his to call a veterinary officer to attend to the animal.
The cow which was due to give birth, however, died soon after the treatment.
The man decided to slaughter the animal, only to realize that the animal's heart had two outgrowths.
One of the outgrowths had the hand, and the other a chicken head.
According to the residents, the incident has never been witnessed in the area.
