Kigumo Member of Parliament Jamleck Kamau has warned ODM leader Raila Odinga against what he termed frequent attack-remarks directed to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking during a function in his constituency, Kamau expressed displeasure at Opposition leaders led by Odinga for constantly criticising all government projects.
The MP instead advised the former Prime Minister to channel the energy used in the attacks to his campaigns for the upcoming August General Election.
‘Uhuru means well for this country. If Raila wants to beat him he should sell his agenda rather than waste time saying nothing has been done,’ he stated.
Kamau faulted the National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders for always fighting the President yet the government had launched several development projects such as the Standard Gauge Railway.
He further questioned NASA's preparation for the forthcoming general elections as it was yet to settle on who will be the Alliance's presidential flag bearer, with only a few months to go.
Last week, the Head of State also blasted a number of Opposition leaders accusing them of "spreading lies and propaganda" yet they had nothing to show for during their tenure in government.
Odinga has often criticised the Jubilee administration and has been considered by many as a ‘whistle blower’ having raised an alarm over several alleged scandals in the government.
