Jubilee MPs Embarrassed Kenya - Namwamba

Budalangi Member of Parliament Ababu Namwamba has criticized legislators who attended the recently concluded Assembly of State Parties (ASP) conference at the Hague.

Namwamba lashed out at the leaders for going to 'make noise' at an international convention thus embarrassing the nation.

Speaking in his constituency on Saturday, the legislator condemned the Jubilee lawmakers for what he termed as "ashaming" and exposing the country to international media.

“There are some leaders who recently went to The Hague to make noise. All that shame they are putting us through is going to be aired on international media,” Citizen Digital quoted him.

He went on to blame them saying that they had exported their bad behaviors to the forum.

“Leaders please keep your bad manners at home; stop exporting it to the international arena. You embarrass the country; you give the country a bad name. The noise that we make in the country shouldn’t be exported abroad,” Namwamba added.

Kenya had sent its delegation comprising of Cabinet Secretaries and Parliamentarians to convince ASP to adopt a proposal restraining use of recanted evidence in Deputy President William Ruto and journalist Joshua Sang's case at International Criminal Court (ICC).
