Jubilee Party's Mvita Parliamentary Hopeful Mohamed Salim Mohamed alias Tenge Admits He Never Went to School

Mvita Parliamentary hopeful in the Jubilee party Mohamed Salim Mohamed alias Tenge yesterday admitted that he never went to Secondary School or attended College.

Tenge has been under investigations by the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and is facing possible arrest after he was suspected of forging the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) certificate.

The Jubilee politician had earlier claimed that he sat for the KCSE exam at Mombasa High School in 1994.

A result slip obtained by The Standard confirmed the claim indicating that a student by the name Mohamed Salim Mohamed sat for KCSE in 1994 and obtained a mean score of C+.

When asked about the DCI's accusations, Mr Salim refuted the allegations asking the DCI to produce evidence.

"Let them investigate and produce their said fake papers and I will produce mine," he commented.

He has, however, since made it clear that he dropped out of school after completing his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exam at Tom Mboya Primary School in the early 1990s.

He asserts that he is fit for leadership and does not need to attain any other academic qualifications.

"I know that all that is required of a leader is to be of sound mind, articulate in Kiswahili and have the will of the people," Tenge emphasized.
