Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has revealed a plan by his political detractors to kick him out of the National Super Alliance (NASA).
Musyoka now claims that the speculation making rounds pointing towards him walking out of the Opposition was a scheme by some NASA insiders to lower his credibility and make him leave the Alliance.
The Wiper leader affirmed that his stand on the matter was clear maintaining that he never had any plans to quit from the coalition.
"I am aware of that trap and will not fall into it," he declared during an interview with the Daily Nation.
The former Vice President asserted that he was determined to clinch the NASA presidential ticket and justified recent endorsements by Ukambani leaders citing that his co-principals also enjoyed similar support from their parties.
"No amount of bad-mouthing or negative propaganda will deter me from pursuing that legitimate political aspiration because I believe that the time to move has come," he maintained.
The former Vice President made the remarks amidst threats made by Kitui West MP, Francis Nyenze, that Wiper would ditch NASA if Musyoka was not named flag bearer.
The Wiper boss at the same time dismissed allegations that in 2007, he ditched ODM leader Raila Odinga and his ODM party indicating that it is the former Prime Minister who abandoned him.
"I was made to look like I am the one who left, yet I stuck in the party and Raila left. I am not good at propaganda; I guess that is why," he clarified.
