Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula Hold Night Meeting Over NASA Flag Bearer

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, ANC's Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya chief Moses Wetangula reportedly held a meeting on Monday night regarding the NASA flag bearer.

Sources privy to the discussions disclosed that the leaders met at one of their friend's house before proceeding to Wetangula's Karen residence.

During the meeting which ended at around midnight, they discussed the failure by NASA's technical team and the National Coordinating Committee (NCC) to select a suitable candidate.

The three principals further raised queries regarding the relationship between the two teams which had been mandated to select the flag bearer but unfortunately failed to do so.

It is also reported that the trio deliberated on the Opposition's probable lineup that would best take on President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August 8 General Election.

They are also said to have discussed the best government structure should the Alliance win the upcoming polls.

The meeting was held in the absence of ODM leader Raila Odinga who in recent polls, has emerged as the most popular candidate to fly the Coalition's flag.

Last week, Musyoka and Mudavadi held a similar forum at the Wiper headquarters in Lavington after which they maintained they were still united, insisting that they would soon select their candidate.

In the meantime, Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto on Tuesday officially joined NASA as an equal partner and will participate in talks to decide who among the five would lead the team in the August Election.
