Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Wednesday reacted to a photo that went viral on social media of a man who netizens claimed was his brother.
Speaking during a vote-hunting mission in Embu, Musyoka stated that though he had a striking resemblance to the man identified as Jesse Kinyanjui, he was not his son.
“I have seen another Kalonzo on the internet but it was not my work,” he told the rally.
The Wiper leader said that he had also seen the photo and was equally surprised at how much they resembled one another.
“That man called Kinyanjui from Kiambu is a true copy of Kalonzo. He is my complete look-alike. But be assured that I didn’t sire him,” he stated.
Musyoka highlighted that their resemblance was an indication that Kenyans are one, adding that he would look for Kinyanjui so that they can get acquainted.
Kinyanjui, who works in Upper Hill, Nairobi came to the limelight after he was featured on a local daily where he disclosed that his neighbours had nicknamed him Kalonzo following the similarities to the CORD co-principal.
The photo went viral on Twitter being shared under the hashtag #KalonzoBro with some claiming that he could have been sired by the Wiper leader out of wedlock.
