The Villa Rosa Kempinski Hotel has announced five couples who made it to the finals in the competition for the spectacular Sh2.5 Million Valentine's gift.
The 5-star deluxe hotel had invited individuals to write compelling love stories in a competition dubbed the Greatest Love Story, for a chance to win the rare treat.
The management has now unveiled 5 of the best stories after receiving 250 applications from couples aged between 25-60.
According to the Hotel's Marketing and Public relations Manager Kithure Mwingirwa, of all the applicants, only 50 met the criteria they were looking for.
The 50 articles were analysed by five judges who included: Willis Raburu, Renee Ngamau, Jackson Biko, Caroline Onyancha and Tim Njiru.
Each of the judges read the 50 articles and they unanimously agreed that these couples wrote the best stories:
1. Nicholas Katua and Iqbal Bassi
2. Ramadhan Mohamed and Esha Gelleh
3. Willie Kanyeki & Wangechi Kanyeki
4. Zawadi & John
5. Ndereba Mwangi & Imelda
The stories of the finalists are running on the Kempinski Facebook page and the couple with the most votes from the public will emerge the winner.
The lucky couple will be announced on Thursday while the other four will receive consolation prices after the voting ends.
The winner will dine, wine and enjoy a night of pure opulence at the luxurious hotel.
