Kenyans Mock Grass Planted in CBD Ahead of Obama’s Visit

Kenyans took to social media on Tuesday to make fun of the grass planted around the CBD in Nairobi in preparation for the arrival of President Barrack Obama.

Most asked why the grass was not planted earlier in preparation for the visit.

The grass is one of the beautification projects being conducted in the city ahead of Obama’s Friday visit.

Nairobi residents mocked a sign put up on the grass warning anyone who steps on the grass.

The general consensus was that there was no way the grass would grow in three days.

Despite that, Kenyans did not fail to give hilarious suggestions to the county governor on how to turn the city green before Obama got here.

Here are some of the tweets.

A lot of us laughing at #KiderosGrass yet we filed our tax returns at the last minute. We had all this time to plant grass/file returns
