The Diary of a Gangster has been trending after an expose a by NTV titled Diary of Gangster: Chilling tales of a gang with a thirst for blood, that exposed the inner-world of the Kayole Gaza gang.
It revealed that the gang was being funded by two politicians, a Member of County Assembly (MCA) and a Member of Parliament (MP).
This trend spiked after a Jubilee aspirant Charles Chege Gitau “Fresh” disappeared on Friday under mysterious circumstances but later found alive in Narok on Sunday.
The online community has however given mixed reactions to the claim by the aspirant that he might have stage-managed the kidnapping.
Others, however, felt that the tensions ahead of the elections called for heightened security and investigations into the matter.
This has been trending after an announcement by State House Spokesman Manoah Esipisu, that President Uhuru Kenyatta was scheduled to visit the region to attend National Drama Festivals gala on Tuesday.
Esipisu stated that the President was reaching out to every corner of the country to see how government investments were impacting ordinary people.
It is however considered by pundits as a direct onslaught on Raila Odinga’s Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) stronghold.
