Kiambu County To Set Up a Sh30 Million Music Recording Studio

A music recording studio worth Sh30 million is set to be established in Kiambu county in the next financial year.

The department of youth affairs, sports, and communication is planning to start the studio in a bid to support the talent among the youth.

According to the County Executive for youth Machel Waikenda the studio planned to be set up in kiambu town is part of the budget presented to the county assembly for consideration and approval.

Waikenda says the money will sufficiently cater for the construction and equipping the studio with state-of-the-art equipment, The Standard reports.

The county executive anticipates that once the budget is approved and money availed, the studio will be ready within a year.

Local youths will access the recording studio for free, their work verified and polished before being recorded.
