A dramatic scene was on Saturday witnessed, at Khaweli village in Kanduyi Constituency, Bungoma County, after a man was caught pants down having sex with someone's wife.
The middle-aged man, Simon Wafula, was beaten to death by the husband of the woman he was caught in the act with.
It is alleged that the deceased was busted in bed by William Mariskuot who was thought to be in Nairobi where he works but occasionally visits his wife in the village.
Mr Mariskuot arrived home at around 9pm only to find his wife and the late Wafula naked in their matrimonial bed.
The residents claim they were alerted by screams from Mariskuot's house where they found Wafula having succumbed to injuries from the beating.
Area Assistant Chief Geofrey Simiyu, confirmed the incident noting that the enraged husband went to the police to confess the killing.
