Millie Odhiambo Abuses President Uhuru Kenyatta in Parliament

Mbita Member of Parliament Millie Odhiambo on Tuesday lost her cool and publicly abused President Uhuru Kenyatta in Parliament.

In a video capturing the incident, Ms Odhiambo was caught hurling unprintable words towards the President noting that she was entitled to her opinion.

The Mbita legislator threatened Kenyatta to take her to court, stating that she is ready to face him. She further told the President that she does not respect him and that he would be sent back to Gatundu in the 2017 poll.

She told journalists to make sure the President had received her message.

Ms Odhimabo was among over 100 CORD MPs who blocked Speaker Justin Muturi from accessing the chambers to oppose a special sitting convened to debate laws and regulations to guide the 2017 elections.

The sitting was called by Mr Muturi to discuss new amendments to the election law introduced by the Jubilee faction including a clause allowing the IEBC to use a manual system in case the electronic one fails in the 2017 polls.

The Opposition, however, read malice in the proposed changes claiming that it was a plan by the Jubilee government to rig the elections.
