Moses Kuria Warns Martha Karua, Peter Kenneth for Failing to Dissolve Parties

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has threatened former Presidential candidates Martha Karua and Peter Kenneth that their political ambitions will collapse unless they dissolve their respective parties and join the Jubilee party.

Kuria, who is a close ally of President Uhuru Kenyatta, stated that the Jubilee team would not be tricked into working with politicians who were pretending to support them.

“No one will dupe Jubilee that they are working with us when they are not,” Kuria stated through his Facebook page.

He added, “Not Martha Karua who wants to fraudulently keep her NARC Kenya nor (sic) Peter Kenneth who conningly ‘resigns’ from his KNC while leaving it intact. Dissolve your parties or go drying”.

The vocal legislator was speaking after the President and his deputy William Ruto concluded a round tour of Central Kenya that saw them launch several development projects.

The tour was also filled with political rhetoric as the Jubilee team sought to allay fears of voter apathy from central region voters who are reportedly disappointed by the performance of the current government.

Karua was one of the political leaders who welcomed the President in Kirinyaga county where she was booed for failing to dissolve her party in favour of Jubilee.

Regarding the claims of apathy, Kuria stated: “voter apathy ni kasheshe ya (circus from) opposition and Mt Kenya newspaper addicted elite. Mwananchi on the ground does not know whether apathy ni nyama choma or tumbukiza (is roasted or fried meat)”

“The Mt Kenya is much more enlightened than most people thought,” he concluded.
