Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has once again made a controversial prediction concerning the National Supper Alliance (NASA) that was officially launched on Wednesday.
Ngunyi on Thursday claimed co-principals in NASA were out to fix ODM leader Raila Odinga since they had all worked for former Head of State Daniel Moi.
The analyst indicated that ANC's Musalia Mudavadi served as Moi's deputy, Kalonzo Musyoka as a senior Minister in the former President's administration while Moses Wetangula was personally moulded by Moi.
“Mudavadi was MOI'S VP, Kalonzo was MOI'S FOREIGN MINISTER, Wetangula was CREATED BY MOI. Raila the ODD MAN OUT. They will FIX RAILA,” he stated.
Ngunyi made the contentious remarks moments after KANU announced it would support President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election in the August 8 General Election.
KANU's declaration came as a surprise considering the party had previously shown desire to work with NASA, with its Secretary General Nick Salat having stated that they were part of the Opposition.
The shift was seen as having been influenced by Mr Moi who many claimed supports President Kenyatta and would not allow the former ruling party to support Odinga.
Ngunyi's statement sparked varied reactions with a section of social media users dismissing his prediction.
