Mutahi Ngunyi Discloses 3 Habits That Will Make Ruto Not be President [VIDEO]

Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has unveiled three things he says could greatly hamper Deputy President William Ruto's ambition of being Kenya's President in 2022.

In an analysis titled 'Letter to Ruto on How Not to Become President', Ngunyi highlights that Ruto's 2022 Presidency was straight forward but would be sabotaged if he continued with his current antics in politics.

According to the professor, Mr Ruto has become arrogantly confident in his quest for the country's top job and has been making his plans and moves known by all — hence, becoming easily predictable.

“William Ruto has become cocky. The first law in the science of becoming the President is to conceal your intentions. They must never see you coming. As Napoleon taught us you must wear a velvet glove behind your iron fist. Unfortunately, Ruto is walking around down with his iron fist visible and exposed,” Ngunyi says.

The political scientist also opines that DP Ruto does not have the tenacity to handle pain, adding that he has been responding to every street picketer who is quick to attack him, something that may be detrimental to his 2022 race.

“Whoever desires this office must have a high threshold for pain. Unfortunately, Ruto feels a little bit of pain and he attacks inconsequential earthlings who spend their lives picketing on the streets. This is eating the rope that tied the calf instead of focusing on the provision of the good Lord which is the Presidency that awaits him,” he infers.

Ngunyi further hypothesises that Ruto ought to have a "worthy enemy", who would keep him in check if he is to clinch the top seat in 2022.

“To become President you need a good enemy to keep you on toes. With an enemy like Raila, for instance, Uhuru cannot afford to sleep on his job. William Ruto, however, has no worthy enemy that we know of,” Ngunyi states.

The political analyst mentions that Ruto's "enemy" will be manufactured by the Gema Nation (Gikuyu, Embu, and Meru Association).

“My hypothesis is that the person who becomes Ruto's running mate will have been a bitter enemy and this person will have been manufactured by the Gema Nation the way you manufacture a test tube baby to keep Ruto in check,” Ngunyi notes.

According to Ngunyi, former Devolution and Planning Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru will be Ruto's probable running mate to contain him and serve as political assurance for the Mt Kenya voting block.

Ngunyi concluded his analysis warning Ruto against "running his mouth" urging him to "shut up" and, just as retired President Mwai Kibaki had been silent, respond to issues only when there is a need.
