Mwangi Kiunjuri and Dan Kazungu Attack Raila Calling Him Destructive and Backward

Jubilee Cabinet Secretaries on Sunday attacked Opposition leader Raila Odinga describing him as a destructive and backward leader who should not be given chance to lead the nation.

Devolution Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri while addressing residents of Taita Taveta County noted that Raila was incapable of leading the country and thus Kenyans should not vote for him as president in August polls.

Mr Kiunjuri further noted that Raila was only good at criticising the Jubilee administration but lacked any development track record and yet he had served in previous regimes.

"This guy (Mr Odinga) is destructive and backward…he has become irrelevant until he cannot even explain his own rhetoric," Kiunjuri stated.

The CS further stated that the Opposition had lost ground in many parts of the country, which was a clear indication that Mr Odinga had lost relevance in Kenya’s politics. The CS cited the recent defection of coast leaders as a sign that Jubilee Party had gained ground due to achievements of the Jubilee administration.

"Even his colleagues in the National Super Alliance (NASA) have asserted that Mr Odinga cannot beat President Uhuru Kenyatta in August polls, how do you expect him to win if his closest colleagues have disqualified his chances of winning elections?

"He is over 70 years and hence he should retire from politics," Kiunjuri stated.

Mining CS Dan Kazungu on his part noted that Jubilee Administration had improved infrastructure, issued title deeds to squatters, equipped hospitals with dialysis machines and connected many households to the national grid a thing that Raila had failed to do.

The attack by the two CSs comes hot on the heels of accusations that Jubilee Cabinet Secretaries are being used by the President to spread the Jubilee agenda ahead of the August elections.
