The premises housing Mwariama Radio and TV station, a local vernacular media house in Meru town owned by a Senatorial aspirant, are set to be auctioned.
This is after a notice was given by an auctioneering company Viewline Auctioneers stating that they would sell the 0.30-hectare plot on which Mwariama offices and studios stand.
The owner, businessman Zablon Mathenge Itewa, failed to delve into the matter only stating that the issue was still in court.
Mr Mathenge, a former police officer, is vying for the Meru County senatorial seat on a Mazingira Greens Party ticket.
He is seeking to unseat incumbent Senator Kiraitu Murungi in the August poll.
