'Obama' the Comedian Lands in Style Bringing Nairobi to a Standstill

Nairobi residents were treated to quite the event when a convoy of big vehicles paraded the streets and 'Obama' popped from the sun roof of a range rover waving.

Comedians Elvis Otina and Geoffrey Otina mimicked with detailed perfection- the anticipated arrival of US President Barack Obama- much to the amusement of Nairobians.

People from offices within the CBD and others going about their business stopped in the streets to watch, while others took out their phones to record the act.

Elvis Otina alias 'Obama' arrived in a motorcade of presidential status.

His brother Geoffrey- who played 'baba' Raila Odinga received the world class visitor.

When 'Obama' finally addressed the nation, he promised goodies via M-Pesa to all and sundry.

'Raila' also took the moment to assure Kenyans that after the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), the duo would head straight o Kogalo- Obama's ancestral home.

Keeping to the script of the real event- the two later headed to Six-Eighty Hotel where they mimicked GES.

By the time the mock arrival of Obama was over, Nairobi residents had been thoroughly entertained.

This being just one of the many activities being undertaken by Kenyans ahead of GES, set to be co-hosted by Presidents Barack Obama and Uhuru Kenyatta.

Obama is scheduled to land in Kenya Friday morning.
