Ole Ntiama's Daughter, Lydiah, Threatens to Quit Jubilee Over Unfair Nominations

Former Cabinet Minister William Ole Ntimama daughter, Lydiah, has sent out a stern warning to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee team.

Lydiah stated that she would be contesting the Narok Women Representative’s position on a Jubilee ticket, but warned that she would decamp to another party is she was not assured of fair nominations.

She asked Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery to move with speed and ensure there are fair nominations in Jubilee primaries, especially in Maasailand.

Nkaissery is regarded as President Kenyatta's point man and wields a lot of influence in the Jubilee party affairs.

“There is a lot of unfairness going on in Jubilee and it must be spoken so that Gen. Nkaissery can hear. The nominations are around the corner and this unfairness must be stopped. These are your votes is you want them but if you don’t want them we will just decamp,” the veteran politician’s daughter warned.

In 2013, Lydiah ran for the same seat on the ODM ticket but lost to Soipan Kudate.

She has since stated that she would contest the same position in honour of her deceased father.
