Pete Odeng' Announces His 2017 Presidential Bid

The 2017 presidential race has a new entrant following the announcement of a Finance and Economic development expert.

Pete Ondeng' who is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lead Africa Foundation, announced on his twitter account that he would contest for the presidential seat on a Restore and Build Kenya (RBK) ticket.

The presidential aspirant officially unveiled his bid on Saturday, April 29th proclaiming himself to be the third force, alternative choice and the new voice that Kenya has been missing.

Lead Africa Foundation inspires new thinking and breakthrough solutions to the issues that impede social and economic development in Africa

Prior to joining the race, he served at the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) as the President to head the Eastern Africa Secretariat.

Mr Odeng' previously also worked as the head of Faulu Kenya. He boasts of over 30 years of global experience in business, government, and the non-profit sectors.

The aspirant is a speaker, trainer and author of two books; How to Start Your Own Small Business and Africa’s Moment

Odeng' will now face off with President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga in the August elections.
