Residents from El Wak, Mandera County, on Thursday, held demonstrations over an alleged Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) airstrike that killed four children.
The Governor Ali Roba condemned the supposed military attack saying that it was unacceptable for civilians to lose their lives in the war against Al-Shabaab.
However, KDF Spokesman Colonel David Obonyo has denied such reports, stating that none of the military aircraft left the grounds for operations.
