A Nairobi bus was on Saturday afternoon set on fire after along Thika Superhighway after being involved in an accident.
The bus which was ferrying passengers from the City was reportedly torched by bodaboda riders after knocking down one of the operators.
The motorcycle riders operating in Roysambu area were allegedly angered after the driver hit the victim forcing them to take action.
However, it was not immediately established whether the incident caused any injuries to passengers travelling in the matatu.
The violence caused heavy traffic snarl up affecting motorists headed towards Thika as a huge crowd milled around the scene to watch the bus go down in flames.
