Tourism Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala surprised guests on Sunday when he chose to land at an event in Watamu, Kilifi, using a parachute as opposed to a vehicle or bodyguards.
The CS who was presiding over the release of a rehabilitated turtle back into the Indian Ocean, rode with a partner on the parachute and calmly landed on the sandy beaches of Watamu.
Mr Balala later released the turtle off Kenyan Coast with a GoPro called The Turtlecam.
