An armed Police Officer in Lamu County caused a scene at Lamu Island after he suddenly dropped his gun and began undressing in public.
The officer, who was later said to have been drunk, became the centre of attraction for the crowd which had gathered near the Ocean Bank to witness the rare occurance.
The dramatic incident caught the attention of police officers near the scene, who rushed to disarm him after he threatened to shoot the onlookers.
NTV reported that the man was apprehended and taken to Lamu Police Station for further questioning.
