Police officers manning the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) were on Saturday involved in a horrible accident along the Mombasa - Nairobi highway at Maungu, Voi .
An unknown number of officers were seriously injured, when the SGR patrol vehicle they were travelling in collided head-on with a lorry and overturned.
The police Landcruiser was badly damaged in the horrific road crash.
Nonetheless, there are no deaths reported.
