President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday took time to survey the coastal town of Mombasa at night as he inspected electricity projects.
Uhuru who was accompanied by Mombasa leaders and Kenya Power CEO Dr. Ben Chumo, took a walk in areas including Old Town and beaches to inspect the Sh1.2 Billion network upgrade and street lighting project dubbed Mwangaza Mtaani.
The President expressed delight in the project that would enable the city to be operational 24 hours. He also interacted with residents along the streets.
