Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary General Wilson Sossion on Thursday tied the knot with his sweetheart Vivianne Kenduiywa in a simple ceremony held at the Attorney-General’s Chambers in Nairobi.

This is 47 year-old sossion's second marriage after he lost his first wife in a car accident about five years ago leaving him to raise their three children on his own.

The couple is set to host a lavish reception party at Sossion's home in Motigo, Bomet County on Friday where officials from all KNUT branches and also those of the Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) are invited.

The KNUT boss had earlier said in an interview that he was unsure if he would remarry following the death of his wife, adding that he was too busy with work and raising his three children.

Sossion has been a constant thorn in the government's flesh with his relentless push to have the teachers' employer award tutors better renumeration.
