Popular NTV Show Host Leaves Nation Media Group

After 11 successful years on TV, Sheila Mwanyigha announced that she had left Nation Media Group.

The AM-Live Show host wrote a lengthy tribute on her Facebook wall thanking her mentors in the industry from the beginning of her career in the entertainment scene.

Mwanyigha recalled the challenges she faced as a newbie in the broadcast scene and the people who patiently led her through the whole process.

Despite leaving the company at a time when other prominent radio presenters have also exited, Sheila spoke of Nation Media Group (NMG) emphatically while acknowledging the brand she had become in the period she worked for the biggest media company in Kenya .

“I know my Mama is proud of me. I have left NMG as a brand. A competent and qualified media-preneur. But most importantly, a better person. Stepping forward in faith, in love and happiness. Expecting no more from anyone, that I would not demand from myself,” read the post.

Sheila Mwanyigha is the fifth presenter to leave NMG after Ciru Muriuki, Sanaipei Tande, Obinna Ikwe Igwe and Antoneo Soul said their goodbye's on Monday this week.
