Many people have memories of pranks and clever (or not so clever) stunts they pulled in high school but few can beat a group of boys from Gilgil who sneaked into a girl school dormitory at night.
The boys, alleged to be from Koelel High School are said to have dressed up in girls' uniforms and sneaked into Gilgil Girls Secondary School dorms.
It is suspected that the students might have bribed the security guard at the gate so as to gain entry.
What they probably thought would be quite the eventful night with their girlfriends however went wrong when a teacher got wind of the act and caught three of them.
The others escaped.
Speaking to The Star, Gilgil sub county education officer Samuel Njathi confirmed the incident and added that all the students involved have been disciplined.
More than 10 students from both schools said to be involved in the sex scandal have been sent home.
Angry parents of students from the girl school have questioned the poor standards of security which allowed the rouge students into the girls' school.
Njathi revealed that investigations are still being carried out into the incident.
