School Principal Kills Self, Leaves Shocking Documents

A school principal in Kirinyaga county committed suicide after allegedly writing his own eulogy and dictating who should attend his burial.

The body of Andrew Murimi Ngure was on Sunday morning at about 6 am found dangling from the roof at his home in Mitondo Village.

It is reported that Mr Ngure left sealed documents that he had been writing since December 21.

The documents were picked by Police probing the circumstances surrounding the death of the 53-year-old.

"These documents are shocking and heartbreaking. It is only the family which can reveal this if it so wishes after we have completed our probe," Kirinyaga West police boss Gasper Makau was quoted by the Standard.

A witness divulged that the deceased had indicated in one of the papers that his body be buried before this Thursday.

It is also claimed that Mr Ngure had also outlined in another document how his wealth was to be divided among his children.
