Raila Odinga's wife Ida Odinga has written a hearty text to her late son Fidel Castro Odinga as their celebrated his 42nd birthday today (Monday).
Fidel who was the eldest son to the Former Prime Minister died earlier this year under mysterious circumstances after a night out with friends. Reports indicated that his wife found him dead in their Karen Home.
In the message to her son, Ida recollected that on such a day, 42 years ago, was the best day of her life when she gave birth to Fidel.
She added that this was the first birthday to celebrate without Fidel, but he was well represented by his son Ally.
Odinga's son was born in November 2nd 1973, and died in January 4th 2015. He was the eldest in a family of four children.
