Serial Rapist Arrested after Trying to Rape Mother

Police have today arrested a man who was in the run after allegedly attempting to rape his mother.

The 20 year-old man fled from their home at Kanyadenda village in Homa Bay after turning against his own mother on Monday, the Star reports.

Confirming the incident Homa Bay deputy county police commander Titus Ndung’u has said the man was drank at the time of the incident.

His 45 year-old mother is said to have raised alarm attracting the young man's father and the neighbours.

The deputy police commander has said the man is a drug addict, adding that he has raped several women in the area.

The rape suspect is set to be arraigned in court to face rape charges.
