Embakasi West Member of Parliament (MP) George Theuri last week posted on Facebook photos and a video showing his wife and two children playing with a gun in a shooting range.
The MP who took down the shocking photos from his Facebook page hours later, left no trace of their initial presence.
The images recovered by Nairobi News show the two children dressed in combat outfits sitting on a plain field while holding and pointing the pistol.
The video which was captioned “Never mess with Cynthia Gitonga”, reportedly showed his wife aiming at a shooting target with the help of a man who seemed to be the trainer. Upon firing the gun, the youngest son is seen running for cover while covering his ears in fright.
It is not known if the gun that the children were playing with was actually loaded.
The youthful MP who was once a 'mitumba trader' was voted into Parliament in 2013, after serving as a Councillor in Umoja 1 ward.
Mr Theuri is, however, yet to comment on the alleged photos that according to some people have tainted his parenting skills.
